NEWS: HYDRATION AND MOISTURIZATION ARE TWO DIFFERENT THINGS!

The two words may seem interchangeable but the difference is that water based ingredients are hydrators and oil based ingredients are moisturizers.

Hydrators secure your skin’s water levels whereas Moisturizers work on sealing in hydration and boost your skin’s natural lipid barrier.

Examples of moisturizers: plant oils, seed oils, mineral oils , shea butter etc.

Examples of hydrators/humectants: hyaluronic acid, glycerine, lactic acid, aloe extract etc.
